La Vita :: to live

On a recent trip to Los Angeles, I was having a marvelous lunch at a new restaurant and I could not help but be drawn to this sign. La Vita – to live.

It got me thinking what does “to live” mean to you? It reminded me of my late aunty’s  motto of “live love laugh life.” She lived her life everyday to the fullest, that is something that has always resonated with me. For me this means traveling as much as I can, checking a few things off of my bucket list every year, spending as much time I can with my loved ones, and most of all, trying to stay positive.

The LOTUS in LOTUS psychological services not only has a metaphorical meaning, but also stands for the following pneumonic.
